THE AIR MILES® Reward Program Privacy Policy
Since its inception, the AIR MILES® Reward Program (the “Program”, “we” or “us”) has understood that privacy is important to Canadians. We deliver personalized offers and benefits to Collectors, and to do this, we rely on the trust that Collectors have in our ability to collect, use, and protect their data responsibly.

Why do you collect Personal Information?
We collect your Personal Information so that you can participate in the Program and benefit from all that we, our Partners, and our Suppliers have to offer. More details on the purposes for which we collect Personal Information can be found in the Privacy Commitment.
Do you share my Personal Information?
We share personal information with Partners for purposes that are described in our Privacy Commitment. For example, if you have opted-in to receive marketing emails from the Program and its Partners, you may receive an email from a Partner with an offer or benefit. The Partner requires your email address to send the marketing email to you. We also use Suppliers to perform certain functions to operate the Program, so your Personal Information may be transferred to a Supplier, for instance for purposes of processing. There may also be legal reasons that Personal Information is disclosed to law enforcement or other organizations.
How do you protect my Personal Information?
We have implemented reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures in an effort to safeguard your Personal Information. When we use a Supplier to process your Personal Information, we require the Supplier to apply safeguards, too.
We retain your Personal Information only for as long as it is needed to fulfil the purposes it is needed for or as otherwise required to meet legal or business requirements.
How can I control my Personal Information?
When you enroll in the Program, we obtain your consent to use your Personal Information for the purposes described in the Privacy Commitment. Information about this is also found in our Terms & Conditions. The amount and the type of Personal Information we collect is limited to what is necessary to fulfill the purposes of the Program. Consent is obtained from you for any new purpose, before it is used. Consent can be collected in different ways.
You can withdraw your consent for the use of your Personal Information for certain purposes, however, if you withdraw consent to use your Personal Information for all purposes, you will not be able to participate in the Program.
To change your contact information, please log-in to your Collector account to update your profile. If you are concerned that your Personal Information held by us is inaccurate, please contact us. If your concern is not resolved, please contact the Privacy Office.
Where do you process and store my Personal Information?
We and our Suppliers are primarily based in Canada and the US. There may be exceptional circumstances where your Personal Information is stored or processed elsewhere.
Who is responsible for privacy at AIR MILES?
The AIR MILES Privacy Office, led by the Chief Privacy Officer, works with the Data Governance Office and Information Security Team to implement, operate, and maintain policies, practices, and procedures that protect Collector Personal Information.

If you are seeking information about your account balance, you can find details for the last 12 months in your online account. For other account balance inquiries, please contact us. If you are seeking Personal Information other than your account balance, please contact the Privacy Office.
